Getting Started
What is Pic Morph?
Pic Morph is a web-based tool that creates smooth video transitions between your photos. Upload multiple images, align them manually, and generate professional-quality morphing videos - all in your browser without uploading to servers.
What formats are supported?
Input: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, and BMP image files.
Output: MP4 video files in various resolutions (480p, 720p, 1080p) and frame rates (15, 24, 30, 60 FPS).
How many images can I use?
You can use between 2 and 10 images per video. Start with at least 2 images, then use the "Add More Photos" button to include additional images up to the maximum limit.
Alignment & Quality
Why is alignment important?
Proper alignment ensures smooth, natural-looking transitions. By aligning similar features (eyes in portraits, horizons in landscapes, centers in objects), you create more convincing morphs. Use the overlay feature to see how images align.
How do I get the best results?
Tips for quality: Use high-resolution images, similar lighting conditions, photos taken from similar angles and distances. Focus on aligning key features first - eyes for faces, horizons for landscapes, centers for objects.
What are the alignment controls?
Position (X/Y): Move image horizontally/vertically
Scale: Resize image (0.1 to 2x)
Rotate: Rotate image (-180° to 180°)
Overlay: Show/hide previous image for alignment reference
Performance & Settings
What FPS should I choose?
24 FPS: Cinematic look
30 FPS: Smooth playback (recommended)
60 FPS: Very smooth motion (larger file size)
Higher FPS creates smoother motion but larger files.
Why is video generation slow?
Video generation happens locally in your browser, so performance depends on your device. To improve speed: reduce duration, lower FPS, use fewer images, close other browser tabs, and ensure sufficient available memory.
What aspect ratios are available?
16:9 Landscape: Standard widescreen
4:3 Landscape: Classic format
1:1 Square: Social media posts
9:16 Portrait: TikTok/Reels
4:5 Portrait: Instagram posts
Privacy & Troubleshooting
Are my images safe?
Yes! All processing happens locally in your browser. Your images never leave your device, are not uploaded to any servers, and we have no access to your photos. Everything is client-side for complete privacy.
I can't upload images
Ensure images are in supported formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, BMP) and not corrupted. Try refreshing the page, using a different browser, or reducing image file sizes. Check that JavaScript is enabled.
Preview not working
Make sure you have at least 2 images uploaded and properly aligned. Check the browser console for error messages. If problems persist, try refreshing the page or using a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
Images appear blurry or distorted
Check your alignment settings - make sure images are properly scaled and positioned. Avoid extreme scale values (very large or very small). Use high-resolution source images for best quality results.
